Head Office
Fairmont Building
P.O.Box 73310, Office 508
Dear Sir,
As discussed with your colleague on the phone, we are aware of a news article which makes reference to the case you are handling in relation to Noble Metal House.
In this article, there is a mention of our Company as well as our Manager which is wrong and defamatory. The facts are:
- Emirates Gold DMCC does not have any directors in Europe. In particular Wolfgang Weber has no affiliation to our Company. Noble Metal House was simply a client purchasing small minted bars in small sizes.
- We do not at present have any subsidiaries anywhere in the world.
- Emirates Gold DMCC does not have any partnerships with Noble Metal House or Wolfgang Weber.
- We find that naming our founder Mohamad Shakarchi in connection with this case is based on no facts, it is defamatory and irresponsible and we ask for this to be removed immediately.
- Emirates Gold Refinery LLC is a name that does not exist.
- I believe the article makes reference to vaulting in Dubai. Gold was always shipped promptly and was never held for any measurable amount of time in our vaults.
Since you are responsible for bankruptcy proceedings, can we kindly ask that you contact the source of this article and remove the incorrect statements made and also the defamatory word used ?
Many thanks
Best regards
